My name is Robi Varga. I have over 35 years of experience playing the alto and tenor saxophones, flute, and clarinet. I have a bachelor’s Degree in Music and I am a UMTC Certified Elite Music Theory Educator with 25+ years of teaching experience. I have a passion for teaching, performing, improvising/ composing music. I enjoy sharing my passion with others interacting with students and watching them grow as musicians. I have taught music privately from: Robi Varga Music studio, Music Academies, and Private Schools all in-person and online.
Our mission
Growing up I did not have a place to expand my musical skills or have someone that I could trust to give me musical guidance on my instruments and music concepts. I made a promise to myself to make an positive impact on other musicians. Robi Varga Music Saxophone Academy is a space to give new and continuing musicians a safe place to learn how to play their instrument and guide music students to achieve their musical goals. Goals such as accomplishing the Royal Conservatory of Music Certification, Honour Band and post-secondary auditions, how to improvise with musical confidence, or just wanting to learn a new instrument!
Our vision
RVM Saxophone Academy aims to be a leading mentor and music coach for young and emerging musicians and instrumentalist wanting to gain more confidence in their musicality. RVM Saxophone Academy nutures young musicianship by focusing on core musical FUNdamentals in a fun and entertaining way.
Robi Varga Music
Our strength lies in the student's individuality. Each music student is unique in the way they learn and approach music. Robi Varga has taken the approach of neurolinguistic programming to teach music students using Glory St. Germain's approach. Robi teaches theory using the Ultimate Music Theory system.
